Fine Art

I am an artist based on the west coast of Sweden, with over 20 years of experience within art and illustration. 

During my time at the Art School in Kristianstad, I developed my painting and explored different disciplines such as printmaking, sculpture, ceramics and photography. Beginning in oil paint medium, I began to progress my artistic skills through a quicker technique using acrylic paint.
 

In the early 2000s when I was studying fine art and spent time painting at Orange Coast College, I was inspired by Expressionism, which took off in the early 1900s. The art style has an individual perspective with expressive lines, powerful colors and skewed proportions, distorting reality to express a certain feeling or idea.
 

My artistic style is colorful and expressionistic, sometimes with a touch of naivety or decadence. I often depict people in different environments on large canvases, but I'm also drawn to architectural structures, mystical places and contrasts in light and shadows.
